WordTour Privacy Policy

This policy explains the personal data processed in the WordTour mobile game (Word Tour / Kelime Turu), why it is used, the service providers involved, and your choices. Kuixo Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. operates the game and is the data controller for the activities described here. Contact us about privacy or support at info@kuixo.com.

 

This document provides information. Reading it does not grant permission for personalized advertising or Meta advertising measurement; those choices are presented separately.

 

Information processed

 

The following information may be processed when you use the game:

 

- Player and device identifiers: Device or app identifiers used to recognize your game profile, a PlayFab player ID, and an automatically generated player label. These replace your real name but are not necessarily anonymous data.

- Game records: Selected language, level progress, virtual currency and inventory, hints, daily goals and rewards, purchased content, and delivery status.

- Gameplay analytics: Sessions, tutorial steps, level starts and completions, active play time, counts of invalid or duplicate attempts, hint use, advertising events, and purchase events.

- Technical and advertising information: IP address, approximate country or region inferred from IP address, device model, operating system, app version, technical errors, and advertising interactions. An advertising identifier may also be processed on supported devices where permitted.

- Purchase verification: Product, transaction or order identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, verification information, price, and currency. You do not need to provide payment card details to us; the app store handles payment.

- Support correspondence: Your email address, message, and information you choose to share when contacting us.

 

You do not need to enter your real name, phone number, or email address to play. WordTour does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or precise GPS location for its game features.

 

Collection methods and purposes

 

Information is obtained electronically through your in-game actions, records stored on your device, store verification processes, software components supplied by our service providers, and correspondence you send us.

 

We use it to operate the game, maintain player profiles and progress, deliver rewards and purchases correctly, prevent errors and abuse, answer support requests, and evaluate the game's usability. Advertising services deliver ads and assess their performance. Meta measurement helps us understand which advertisements bring players and conversions to the game.

 

Grounds for processing

 

For processing subject to Turkish law, essential player profiles, progress, and purchase operations rely on the establishment or performance of a contract to the extent necessary to provide the service. Legally required transaction records rely on legal obligations. Records necessary for disputes and abuse investigations rely on the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right. Limited technical security records are assessed under legitimate interests in service security, subject to protecting your fundamental rights and freedoms. These grounds are provided in Article 5 of Turkish Law No. 6698.

 

Meta advertising measurement relies on consent. Player-linked gameplay analytics and advertising personalization that requires consent also require the separate permissions applicable law and the service provider call for. Processing for the essential game service serves a different purpose from advertising measurement permission.

 

Service providers and disclosures

 

WordTour uses the following services. Information processed depends on the relevant purpose, app version, device, and your choices.

 

- Microsoft PlayFab: Provides player profiles, cloud progress, inventory, rewards, and purchase verification. Device or app identifiers, game records, and relevant purchase verification information may be sent to this service. - GameAnalytics: Processes gameplay and session events to evaluate game use and performance. Events may be associated with your PlayFab player ID. GameAnalytics events are a separate data flow from Meta measurement. GameAnalytics privacy and data protection information (https://www.gameanalytics.com/trust).

- Appodeal and its advertising partners: Provide in-game advertising and advertising performance measurement. Advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device information, and ad interactions may be processed depending on the active ad network and permission status. Appodeal Privacy Policy (https://appodeal.com/privacy-policy/). Where applicable, the advertising privacy screen provides information and choices about the relevant partners.

- Google advertising and consent services: Google advertising components and User Messaging Platform may be used for advertising and managing advertising privacy choices. Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's use of information from partner apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

- Meta: Provides permission-based advertising and installation measurement as described below. Meta Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/).

- App stores: Purchases and payments are also subject to your store's rules and privacy practices. Google Play and Google privacy information (https://policies.google.com/privacy); for supported Apple versions, Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

 

Necessary information may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by a legal obligation or valid official request. As a company, we do not sell your personal data in exchange for money. Providing the services described in this policy nevertheless involves disclosures to third parties.

 

Meta advertising and installation measurement

 

The game requests separate permission for Meta measurement. If you decline, WordTour's measurement integration does not initialize the Meta SDK, and you can continue playing.

 

If you allow it, app activation and installation measurement, completion of the word-connect tutorial, level completions that unlock new progress, and confirmed purchases may be reported to Meta. Depending on the event, parameters include language, level number, product ID, price, and currency. Meta's software may also process connection and device information. On Android, an advertising identifier that is permitted may help associate an advertisement with an installation or event. An in-game choice does not replace the operating system's tracking permission on iOS.

 

This integration does not require Facebook Login. WordTour does not include your PlayFab player ID, purchase receipt, name, email address, or Facebook profile information in its Meta event parameters.

 

You can change your choice through Ad measurement in Settings. Withdrawing permission stops WordTour from submitting new Meta gameplay events. It does not automatically delete information already sent or delivered to the provider; contact us to request deletion. Turning off Meta measurement does not automatically turn off game saves or GameAnalytics analytics.

 

Managing other choices

 

Where required, advertising privacy options are available through Ad privacy in the game. These are separate from the Meta measurement choice. You can also use your device's advertising privacy settings. Declining personalization may not prevent all non-personalized advertising where it is permitted.

 

Send objections, consent withdrawal requests, and deletion requests concerning gameplay analytics or your personal data to info@kuixo.com. Purchasing an ad-removal product does not by itself end all analytics processing or delete previously processed information.

 

Retention and deletion

 

The need to retain player profiles and progress depends on account use, preservation of game saves, and deletion requests. Purchase records take account of verification, delivery, refunds, disputes, and applicable legal obligations. Support and technical records are limited to the periods needed to resolve requests and maintain security. Providers also explain their retention practices in their own notices. Data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized when the need to process and retain it ends.

 

Request deletion of your profile or personal data by emailing info@kuixo.com with the subject “WordTour data deletion request.” We may ask only for information necessary to match the request to the relevant records and prevent unauthorized deletion. We will explain any legally required retention and the scope of the request.

 

Uninstalling the app or clearing its local data does not automatically remove existing records held by PlayFab, analytics, or advertising services. Deleting local records may cause loss of game progress.

 

Processing outside your country

 

Our international providers and advertising partners may process information on servers outside Türkiye or your country of residence. Transfers are subject to applicable transfer rules and required safeguards separately from the grounds for processing. Contact info@kuixo.com for information about the services involved and relevant safeguards. Reading this policy is not, by itself, consent to an international transfer.

 

Your rights

 

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about your data and disclosures, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction where appropriate, object to processing, and withdraw consent. In Türkiye, you may exercise the rights provided in Article 11 of Law No. 6698. Data portability and the right to complain to a competent data protection authority may also apply where the relevant conditions are met.

 

Email requests to info@kuixo.com. We will verify the request and respond within the applicable legal period. Withdrawing consent does not automatically invalidate lawful processing that took place before withdrawal.

 

Children and security

 

WordTour is not directed to children under 13. A higher age of data consent may apply in your country. If you believe a child's information has been processed without appropriate permission, contact info@kuixo.com so we can assess the report and take necessary protection and deletion steps.

 

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to reduce unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

 

Policy changes and contact

 

We update this policy when the game's data practices change and state the update date. We provide required notice of material changes and request a separate choice where new or different permission is needed. External websites opened from the game have their own privacy policies. This document is not a separate website or cookie policy covering every activity on the Kuixo website.
